Information we collect

Account information: when you register or sign in, our authentication provider processes information such as your email address, verification status, account identifier, authentication activity, and any name or profile image supplied by your chosen sign-in provider. Passwords, when used, are handled by the authentication provider rather than stored in the app's bank-profile database.

Check and bank information: information you choose to enter can include account-holder names and addresses, bank names and addresses, routing and account numbers, check numbers, payees, payment amounts, dates, memos, and account-holder logos. Saved workspaces also include check status, preferences, and printer alignment settings. This information can include details about other people, such as payees; provide it only if you are authorized to do so.

Subscription information: Stripe processes payment details and billing information. PrintMeCheck uses a Stripe customer reference and subscription records, such as plan, status, and billing-period dates, to manage access. The app does not store your full payment-card number or card security code.

Technical and support information: hosting and authentication services process information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, request timing, security events, and service errors. If you email us, we receive your message and contact details. Do not send full bank-account numbers, passwords, or payment-card details by email.

Temporary printing and saved member data

Guest check information is kept in the current browser workspace for temporary printing rather than saved as a member workspace. Refreshing or leaving the page can clear this information. A signed-in user can also explicitly select a temporary workspace instead of changing saved records. Visiting the site still involves ordinary hosting, authentication, and security processing described in this policy.

Private saving requires a verified account and an eligible membership; authorized administrative accounts may be fee-exempt. When you save, bank profiles, check records, settings, and uploaded logos are transmitted to the service and stored for your account. Expiration of a subscription pauses new saves but does not by itself erase existing saved information.

Printing, downloading a backup, or using your browser's Save as PDF creates copies outside our saved workspace. Your browser, printer, operating system, downloaded files, and any person receiving a printed check may retain those copies. Protect them, especially on shared devices.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; prepare and print checks; save and retrieve authorized member data; provide uploaded logos and printer preferences; administer subscriptions; answer support requests; detect misuse; resolve technical problems; and meet applicable legal obligations.

We use information received through Google sign-in to establish and maintain your account, identify your profile, and secure access. Google sign-in is not a connection to your bank and does not authorize PrintMeCheck to read Gmail messages, Google Drive documents, or Google Contacts.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information or use your bank details, check records, or Google sign-in information for targeted advertising. We do not provide user check information to an AI service for generating or analyzing content.

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, processing may be based on providing the requested service or performing a contract, consent, legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as protecting the service. You may contact us about the basis applicable to your information.

Google user data: access, use, storage, and sharing

Google sign-in is optional. When you choose Continue with Google and authorize sign-in, Google provides basic identity information to Clerk, our authentication provider: your Google account identifier, email address and verification status, and available profile information such as your name and profile picture. This is identity/profile access for signing in, not access to your financial accounts.

We use this information to create or recognize your PrintMeCheck account, establish your authenticated session, display your account identity, and associate your account with your saved workspace and membership access. PrintMeCheck does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, or Google Calendar. Bank and check information is entered by you, not retrieved from Google.

Clerk stores and processes Google-linked identity information for authentication and session security. PrintMeCheck's hosted application processes the authenticated user identifier and relevant account information to authorize access to your private workspace. Replit hosts the application and saved member data. These providers process information as needed to deliver and secure these features. Subscription-related account references and billing details are processed by Stripe for paid memberships; PrintMeCheck does not send bank profiles or check records to Stripe.

Google-linked account information is protected by HTTPS during communication with the published site and by authenticated access controls for private member features. We do not sell Google user data, use it for targeted advertising or credit decisions, or use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Disclosures to service providers are for operating the service; other disclosures are limited to the legal, security, and business-transfer circumstances described below.

We retain Google-linked account information while needed to provide and secure your account, subject to the retention exceptions below. You can initiate account deletion through the account controls or request deletion at printmecheck@gmail.com. Account deletion initiates cleanup of the saved workspace and private logos; authentication-provider records, backups, billing records, and legally required records may follow separate retention schedules. Removing PrintMeCheck from your Google Account's third-party connections stops future authorized Google access but does not itself delete your PrintMeCheck account or cancel billing.

Service providers and disclosures

Replit provides application hosting and managed database and file-storage services. These services process stored workspaces, uploaded logos, and technical requests needed to operate the app. Storage infrastructure may include Google Cloud services used through the hosting/storage environment.

Clerk provides account registration, email verification, sign-in, session management, and authentication security through Replit-managed authentication. Clerk processes account information and authentication-related technical information.

Google provides optional Google sign-in. If you choose it, Google shares the profile information authorized during sign-in with our authentication provider. Google also receives technical requests when the site loads Google-hosted fonts, and our public support mailbox uses Gmail. Google's own policies apply to your use of those services.

Stripe provides hosted checkout, subscription billing, invoices, and billing management. Payment and billing details are provided directly to Stripe; subscription information is synchronized so PrintMeCheck can determine membership access.

Providers may use subprocessors under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and security, or carry out a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards and legally required notice. We do not intentionally publish your saved bank profiles or check records.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication and infrastructure providers use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, verify requests, and protect the service. These are separate from the temporary check information held in the browser workspace. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or saved-member features from working.

We do not add advertising pixels or session-replay tools to collect your check contents. Providers may process technical usage information as described in their policies. You can manage cookies through your browser, but clearing cookies does not necessarily delete saved information on the service.

Storage, security, and international processing

The operator is based in the United States. Hosting, authentication, payment, and other infrastructure providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your location.

We use HTTPS for the published website and authenticated access checks for saved workspaces and private logo requests. Account access is scoped to the authenticated user. The administrator dashboard is designed to show account and service-status metadata, not members' financial documents.

No internet service or storage system is guaranteed secure. Keep your device and account secure, use appropriate sign-in protections, and avoid storing information you are not authorized to handle. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Retention and deletion

Saved information is retained to provide your account and requested features unless you remove it, delete your account, or retention is otherwise no longer appropriate. A canceled or expired paid plan does not automatically delete saved records; existing records remain available to view and export while the account and service remain available.

Deleting your account initiates removal of the member workspace and private uploaded logos through the account-deletion cleanup process. Some billing, security, legal-compliance, backup, or provider-held records may remain as required or permitted by law. Limited non-financial deletion markers may be retained to prevent delayed requests from recreating erased data. Provider copies and backups can follow their own retention schedules.

If account deletion fails, you cannot access your account, or you need help removing particular information, email the privacy contact. Do not assume that canceling a subscription, revoking Google access, or clearing your browser deletes your PrintMeCheck account.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can review and correct information through available account and workspace controls, export a saved-workspace backup, manage a subscription through Manage billing, and request access, correction, or deletion by emailing printmecheck@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request; do not email sensitive financial details for verification.

You can revoke the Google connection through your Google Account's connected-app settings. That can affect future Google sign-in but does not itself remove your PrintMeCheck account or cancel a paid subscription.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to a privacy regulator. We will consider requests under the law that applies and will not treat a privacy request as permission to disclose another person's data. These statements do not waive mandatory privacy rights.

Minimum age and minors

PrintMeCheck is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Users aged 13 to 17 must involve a parent or legal guardian where required by law or these Terms, including for a paid subscription or other activity requiring adult authorization. A minimum age of 13 does not override a higher age or parental-consent requirement under applicable law.

Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where applicable law requires it.

For questions about this policy, Google sign-in data, or privacy requests, contact Soo Chae at printmecheck@gmail.com. The operator is based in Hawaii, United States. Applicable United States and Hawaii laws, together with any mandatory privacy protections that apply to you, govern our privacy obligations.
